WEST AFRICAN CHIROPRACTIC ASSOCIATION (WACA) BORN
West African Chiropractic
Association (WACA) is an organization of Chiropractors, which was registered on
in Ghana September 28, 2012 with a total of eleven founding chiropractors.
Members of WACA are a group of forward thinking, unified and energetic
Chiropractors who are committed to expanding chiropractic profession in Ghana,
and on the African continent. The mission of WACA is “to be the bold unified
voice representing the interest and growth of the chiropractic profession and
the people it serves”. The goal of WACA is to have respectful, productive and
interactive relationships with the various government bodies, organizations,
and healthcare professionals around the world, and to establish legislature and
increase the growth of the Chiropractic profession in West Africa. The
president of WACA is Dr. Naa Asheley Ashietey of The Spinal Clinic and Dr.
Marcus Manns of CWC is the vice president.
